Amber Jane has been
studying the art of vocal technique in music for over fifteen years,
extensively, in the fields of Musical Theatre and Classical Voice (ARCT). She
also has been noted to be one of the youngest members that ever joined Opera
Hamilton, and has performed with three other local theatres. Having attended Mohawk College for Applied Music, she was
noticed as an exceptional vocalist and performed for annual fashion shows and
events on campus. Throughout her career Amber has been awarded many
scholarships and placements at different competitions and festivals. Amber has
performed twice at Burlington's Sound of Music Festival and has
been singled out for recognition in the eyes of better known music critics such
as Gary Smith of the Hamilton Spectator. A former member of the praise and
worship band, EveryBreath, Amber is currently lead vocalist/pianist of the
Crossworks Worship team. Having
produced her own benefit concert, she has gained a multitude of experience with
necessary components to create a successful performance. Amber has been teaching voice and other
instruments privately for the past five years. She brings across a fun
atmosphere for her students. She knows how to find the musical potential in
everyone. Amber has a great personality that is upbeat and energetic which
enables students to learn in a positive environment. Her enthusiasm is
contagious and her students get results from her extensive knowledge and
straightforward instructions through enjoyable lessons.
